Indiana Tech Athletics

Led by Hall of Fame coach Jerre McManama, the 1969 men's volleyball team was the NAIA National Tournament Runner-Up and had three All-Tournament players in Mike Fitch, Steve Henson and John Sovinski. The team was the first in Tech history to earn a national runner-up spot in any sport and started a three-year run of national runner-up finishes for the program. Other members of the team include: Terry Tegtmeier, Bill Driscoll, Al Seagren, Bob Wilson, Ben Schaffer, Mike Gensic, Rick Wells and Boby Tyler.
