FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Fall sports are winding down, winter sports are back in action, and nine Warrior teams are ranked nationally, including two teams in the top five of their respective rankings and four in the top ten.
Six teams climbed up the rankings from their previous positions, including men's and women's bowling, men's and women's wrestling, and men's and women's basketball. Men's bowling leads the way for the Warriors at #3 in the first NAIA RPI of the 2025-26 season, moving up from last year's final RPI. Men's wrestling is right behind, sitting at #4 in the NAIA Preseason Top 25 Poll. Women's wrestling is #7 in the NAIA Preseason Top 20 Poll, up from last year's finish. Women's bowling is in the top ten in the first NAIA RPI of the year as well, at #9. Women's hockey fell three spots to #14 in the third ACHA Top 15 Ranking of the season. Men's soccer dropped back one spot to #17 in the fifth NAIA Top 25 Poll. Women's basketball starts the season at #17 in the NAIA Preseason Top 25 Poll. Men's hockey moves down one spot to #20 in the fourth ACHA Top 25 Ranking. And men's basketball starts the year at #21 in the NAIA Preseason Top 25 Poll, moving up from receiving votes to end last season.
