Coach Sharin is entering his third year as a coach at Indiana Tech.
Before joining the staff, Sharin served as the Head Track and Field coach for five years for the Wayne Lady Generals. During his time with the Generals he coached 25 state qualifiers, 10 All-State athletes and led the Generals to their first ever team sectional championships in 2008 and 2009.
Sharin was instrumental in mentoring the Warriors sprints, jumpers and hurdlers during his first season with the team. He will take over duties as recruiting coordinator for the Warriors in 2012 as he continues to work with the sprinters, jumpers and hurdlers.
Sharin is USATF Level 1 certified and holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Indiana University. Sharin began his post-secondary education at the University of St. Francis on a football scholarship where he was a member of the Cougar football team for two years before transferring in 2002.
Sharin married his wife Tiffany in 2006 and they have two children, a daughter Olivia (4) and son Nickolas (2).Â
