FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released their 2025 National Awards Day recipients on September 15th. These awards recognize student-athletes, administrators, and coaches' achievements in competition and academics. To receive a Scholar Team award, the team must achieve a grade point average of a minimum 3.0 for both fall and spring semesters. Indiana Tech had 25 teams earn Scholar Team honors, led by women's basketball and women's golf with an average GPA of 3.71 each. The 25 Warrior teams receiving Scholar Team status marks a new program high for Indiana Tech (previously 23)! The full list of NAIA teams to receive the honor can be found

To earn the Scholar-Athlete award, the student must be a sophomore or older and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. Students must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at the Institution. The awards are given annually to outstanding student-athletes in the various sports in which the program is active, and their respective teams are eligible for NAIA postseason competition. Indiana Tech had 128 Student-Athletes earn the Scholar-Athlete award.
