FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Men's wrestler
Jonathan Kervin has been named the Warrior of the Month for December, the Indiana Tech Athletic Department announced.
The senior from Floyds Knobs, Indiana went on a rampage in December going 8-0 in the month and winning the Little State Invite. On December 6
th, Kervin would go 5-0 with three falls and two tech falls on his way to becoming the Little State Invitational Champion. He would follow that performance up with three dual meet wins over top ranked opponents, including #13 University of Providence, #4 Southeastern University, and (RV) Keiser University. In those matches, he would pick up two tech falls, including one over an All-American, and he would defeat the #7 ranked wrestler in the weight class 12-5. Kervin and the Warriors are now 8-0 in dual meets on the season and will next compete at the NWCA National Duals in Cedar Falls, Iowa on January 9
th and 10
th.
Kervin joins Kristin Matlack, Liam Arthur, and Bronwyn Nel as Warriors of the Month honors in 2025-26. Each month during the academic year, the Indiana Tech Athletic Department honors one athlete that has excelled in their sport and in the classroom while displaying "Warrior Pride" throughout the month.
