Michael Bailey enters his first season with the Indiana Tech track and field program. Mike competed in football and track and field in high school, where he earned All-State honors as a senior. He received a scholarship to play football at Shepherd University and graduated from there with a degree in Sports Management. After graduation he moved back to his home town in Prince William County where he coached throws at his alma mater. During his tenure he advised the state record holder in shot and four state champions in shot or discus. Over 10 years he has coached dozens of All-Region and All-District throwers. Bailey earned his USATF Level 2 in throws in 2017.
