MacDonald, a senior libero on the women’s volleyball team, concluded one of the best seasons by a defensive specialist in program history as she recorded 91 digs in five matches to finish the year with 770, the second-most in program history. The Grabill, Indiana native led the Warriors to the semifinals of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Tournament for the first time since 2015 after upsetting fourth-seeded University of Northwestern Ohio in the quarterfinals. The Leo High School product was named the WHAC Libero of the Year and earned a nod on the NAIA and American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-America Teams in addition to being a First-Team All-Conference and WHAC All-Academic Team selection. She finished the season ranked fifth in the NAIA in total digs while helping the team to a 26-10 record, its most wins in a season since 2011.
