Kalusa earned April Warrior of the month award after being named WHAC Player of the Year and First-Team All-Conference Selection. The senior centerfielder was also earned NAIA Honorable Mention All-American.
 
In the month, Kalusa was second on the team with a .382 (39-for-102) average, drove in 22, scored 31 runs, had six doubles and five home runs. He also led the team with .588 slugging percentage while going 13-for-15 on the bases
