 Hobbs finished the month of September with a pair of Top-10 finishes including a season-best time. Hobbs ran in the Calvin Knight Invitational on Sept. 13 and posted a season best time of 25:47 for 5 miles, placing 7th in a field of 291 runners. He then ran at the Indiana Intercollegiates meet on Sept. 19 hosted by Purdue University where he ran 26:42 on a much harder course that was good enough for 10th out of 150 runners.
