Woods, a junior sprinter, would capture individual titles in the 100 and 200m while anchoring the national champion 4x100m relay and took home MVP honors with 30 points, nearly half of Tech’s final score as they finished as the national runner-ups after not scoring through the first two days of competition at the Outdoor Championships. The Huber Heights, Ohio native was honored as the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Great Lakes Region Women’s Track Athlete of the Year before the national championships.
 
Earlier in the month, the Wayne High School product would earn the WHAC Outdoor Championships Outstanding Performer award after capturing the titles in the 100 and 200m while anchoring the 4x100m relay to the title as the Warriors finished second.
