FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech ACHA Division 3 men's ice hockey team fell to Michigan State, 3-2, on Saturday night at the SportONE/Parkview Icehouse in Michigan Collegiate Hockey Conference (MCHC) West Division action.

After a scoreless first period, the Spartans took the lead at 2:57 in the second. The Warriors would tie the game in the third period at 7:45 as Chad Cobb lit the net.

A power play goal from the Spartans at 6:04 in the third would put the visitors ahead, but Tech answered back quickly at 4:04 as Josh Brown tied the game up at two. Michigan State though, would find the net at 1:31 in the third and hold off a later charge from the Orange and Black to sweep the weekend set.

Tech (2-4-0, 2-4-0 MCHC) returns to action on Friday when they head to Holland, Michigan for a MCHC battle with Hope College. Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m. from the Edge Ice Arena.
