FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's tennis team fell to No. 20-ranked Lawrence Tech, 6-3, in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) play on Saturday afternoon at Wildwood Racquet Club.
Tech fell behind early as the Blue Devils took all three points in doubles play by three points or more.
Pablo Bono put the Warriors on the scoreboard with a 6-2, 6-2 win at fifth flight while
Brunno Storani won 6-3, 7-6 (2) at second flight.
Rui Lima won the hosts final match of the day with a 6-1, 6-1 triumph at number four singles while
Alvaro Garrido dropped a hard fought three-setter, 7-5, 3-6, 2-6, at number three singles.
Tech (4-10, 1-1 WHAC) returns to action on Saturday, April 7 as they travel to Bethel for a nonconference match. Opening serve is set for 10 a.m.
