GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The No. 6-seeded Indiana Tech women's tennis team fell to No. 3-seeded Lawrence Tech, 5-0, on Friday afternoon in the quarterfinals of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Tournament at Gainey Athletic Complex on the campus of Calvin College.
The Blue Devils took all three doubles matches in dominating fashion, winning 8-2 at first flight and 8-0 at second flight while taking the third flight by default. Lawrence Tech got the last two points quickly as they earned another point at six singles by default before winning in straight sets at five singles, 6-0, 6-2.
Tech concludes the 2017-18 season with a 3-17 record.
