GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The No. 4-seeded Indiana Tech men's tennis team was defeated by the No. 1-seeded University of Northwestern Ohio, 5-1, on Friday afternoon at the Farmers Insurance Athletic Complex in the semifinals of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Tournament.
The Racers took two of the three doubles matches, with the second flight of
Rui Lima and
Alvaro Garrido picking up the lone point for the Warriors with an 8-5 victory. The Racers won the first three singles matches in straight sets to seal the win and end Tech's tournament run.
Tech finishes the 2017-18 season with a 10-13 mark.
