UPLAND, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's tennis team defeated Taylor University, 8-1, Saturday afternoon at Meier Tennis Courts to close out their road fall schedule.
Tech swept through doubles action by only dropping five points, with the third flight of
Pablo Bono and
Alvaro Gomez winning 8-0.
The Warriors continued to dominate through singles action with
Tiago Neves winning 6-0, 6-2 at second flight,
Rui Lima winning 6-1, 6-1 at fourth flight and Gomez notching a 6-1, 6-2 victory at sixth flight.
Tech (3-2) concludes their fall schedule Saturday, October 13 as they host Indiana University Southeast at Swinney Tennis Courts. First serve is set for 11 a.m.
