FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's and women's basketball programs are teaming up with Warriors for Kids to raise funds and awareness for Riley Children's Hospital at Saturday's doubleheader with Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) foe Lourdes University.
Warriors for Kids is an Indiana Tech Student Organization that was created by the Indiana Tech Presidential Scholars, a group of students who demonstrate excellence in academics and extracurricular activities, a high level of character and a commitment to community service. Throughout their time at Tech, the Presidential Scholars work together on community service and leadership development projects in addition to their academic and extracurricular pursuits.
Warriors for Kids will be collecting donations for Riley Children's Hospital during both games and promoting their 2020 Stand Up for Kids event. In addition, there will be a 3D Photo Mirror set up along the track overlooking the gym.
