GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Indiana Tech women's tennis team fell to Cornerstone University, 7-2, on Saturday afternoon inside the Grand Rapids Racquet Club in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) action.
Cornerstone took a 3-0 lead after doubles play and won four of the six singles matches, though the Warriors two of the three matches that were actually played.
Martina Borges won 6-1, 6-3 at first flight while Dominque Michelet won 6-1, 6-2 at third flight.
Tech (3-8, 0-3 WHAC) returns to action on Saturday, March 23 as they return to Grand Rapids for a matchup against Aquinas College. First serve is set for 12 p.m. from the MVP Sportsplex.
