LIMA, Ohio – The Indiana Tech women's tennis team fell to the University of Northwestern Ohio, 5-1, on Tuesday afternoon in the semifinals of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Tournament at Westwood Tennis Center.
The Warriors, who were making their first-ever appearance in the semifinals of the conference tournament, fell behind 2-1 after doubles play, with the first flight of
Vero Jimenez and
Dominique Michelet winning 8-6.
The Racers took three straight matches in singles play to clinch the match and end the Warriors season.
Tech concludes the season with a 7-12 record, their most wins in program history.
