FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Mariah Linnett has been named the Assistant Director of Sports Information for the Indiana Tech Department of Athletics, Sports Information Director
Tyler Stevenson announced today. She will begin her duties July 6.
"We are pleased and thrilled to have Mariah Linnett as our first-ever Assistant SID," Stevenson said. "Her experiences have prepared her well for this position and her skills are second-to-none. We look forward to her joining our Warrior Family and elevating our sports information office in the promotion of our student-athletes, coaches and teams."

Linnett comes to Indiana Tech following a two-year stint at Assumption College, an NCAA Division II institution in Worcester, Massachusetts, where she served as the Graduate Assistant for Athletic Communications. She served as the primary media contact for Greyhounds field hockey, softball, women's basketball, women's swimming & diving and women's volleyball this past year. Linnett completed her graduate studies in May with a Master's of Business Administration.
She graduated from Castleton University, an NCAA Division III school in Castleton, Vermont, in 2018 with a degree in Sport Management and was a student worker for the sports information department. A member of the Spartans field hockey and women's basketball teams during her four years, she received NFHCA Academic Squad and NAC All-Academic Team honors as a junior and senior.
A native of Greenwich, New York, Linnett worked in various roles for the Adirondack Thunder of the ECHL, COOL Insuring Arena, AAU sports and Zero Gravity Basketball prior to her time at Assumption.
