NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The No. 10-ranked Indiana Tech women's wrestling team fell to NCAA No. 3-ranked North Central College, 38-7, Sunday afternoon inside Merner Fieldhouse.
The Warriors started off the dual strong with a pin from
Sydney Kutzke at 2:01 in the 101-lbs. bout, but the hosts took the remaining nine matches, all by tech fall or pin, to shutout Tech the rest of the day.
Tech (2-3) returns to action Friday as they host the Warrior Duals and then the Warrior Open Saturday. The Warriors will take on Brewton-Parker College and Life University Friday at 1:30 and 2:30 p.m., respectively, while Saturday's tournament will get underway at 9 a.m. All action will take place inside the Warrior Athletic Center.
