FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech Department of Athletics has partnered with Summit City Sports for its live streaming and broadcasting needs for the 2021-22 season.
Summit City Sports, founded by Jeff Mahoney, specializes in live video broadcasts and highlight features and has been used by numerous high schools and sport clubs in the northeast Indiana area and by the University of Saint Francis over the last decade for live streaming needs. Mahoney was a member of the USF Athletics Department from 2010-20 as a video coordinator for the Cougar football program and sports broadcast director/assistant Sports Information Director who spearheaded the live streaming efforts for USF Athletics. His highlight videos have earned recognition in the annual NAIA-SIDA (Sports Information Directors Association) Publications and Media Contest.
"We are thrilled to be partnering with Jeff Mahoney and Summit City Sports for our live streaming and broadcast needs," said Sports Information Director
Tyler Stevenson. "With the increased demand for high quality broadcasts and highlight clips it made perfect sense for us to partner with Summit City Sports to provide a great product for our student-athletes and fans. Their work with the men's ice hockey team and 2021 WHAC Tournament made it an easy decision to expand our partnership and take advantage of a great opportunity."
Summit City Sports will handle the broadcasts for Warrior basketball, ice hockey, lacrosse, soccer and volleyball initially with the possibility of adding baseball and softball to the mix. All live streams for the aforementioned sports can be found at the Indiana Tech Athletics YouTube page,
https://www.youtube.com/intechwarriors. Live stats will be powered by Sidearm Stats while individual links can be found
here. Indiana Tech will utilize Presto Sports for its stat programs as the NAIA makes the transition from DakStats as the official stats provider of the association.
