FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Indiana Tech's
Lisa Voyles was named the Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for the third time this season after her performance in the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge.
Voyles led the Warriors to a 12
th place team finish at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge meet at Riverside Park in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Saturday. Voyles would finish with the fifth fastest Tech time ever recorded on that course with a 5k time of 18:14. In the race, she would finish first among all WHAC competitors and would place second overall of the 189 runners in the race.
The Warriors will now look ahead to their next event on Friday, November 3
rd at the WHAC Championship meet on the same Riverside Park course in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
