COMSTOCK PARK, Mich. – The Indiana Tech women's bowling team started their conference schedule over the weekend as they traveled to Grand Rapids, Michigan, to participate in the 1
st and 2
nd Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Jamborees. On Friday, the Warriors finished 5
th of the 13 teams represented and topped the leaderboard on Saturday, 1
st of 13.
On Friday, Tech had a score of 6532 (3641 team, 2891 baker) led by
Meagan Kennedy, who posted a score of 758 in 4 games and bowled for an average of 189.5 pins per game.
Morgan Nunn followed close behind Kennedy with a 757 in four games for an average of 189.25 pins.
Jordan Downham knocked down 737 in 4 games bowled for an average of 184.25 per game.
On Saturday, the Warriors finished first with a score of 6716 (3716 team, 3000 baker).
Jillian Treska led the Warriors, finishing 4
th overall with a 788 in four games, averaging 197 pins per game.
Meagan Kennedy also had a top ten finish, 6
th, with 785 pins knocked down for an average of 196.25 pins.
Morgan Nunn finished 14
th overall while knocking down 756 pins for an average of 189.
The women's team is back in action on Saturday, November 18, in Sandusky, Ohio, to participate in the Bowling Green State University Falcon Classic.
