STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. – The Indiana Tech men's and women's bowling team traveled to Sterling Heights, Michigan, over the weekend for the third edition of the WHAC Jamboree. The Orange and Black put together strong showings all around, winning both the men's and women's with scores of 6367 and 5676, respectively.
On the men's side,
Malakai Pettrie led the Warriors with a second-overall finish, knocking down 676 pins in his three games.
Tuna Boncu finished his three games with a tally of 623, finishing 16
th overall.
Hayden Tarris came in right behind Boncu, finishing 17
th with a 619.
Jayden Combs bowled two games for Tech with a 458.
Dylan Bulusan posted a 403 in his two games.
Kaden Salts and
Nolan Blessing each bowled one game with scores of 192 and 170, respectively.
The women's team was led by
Jillian Treska, who tallied 569 pins in three games, finishing eighth overall.
Leah Brazier finished 21
st with a 539.
Libby Hurley finished next for Tech, knocking down 516 pins in three games.
Elizabeth Jones bowled two games for the Warriors with a score of 358.
Shelby Mercer posted a 342 in her two games.
Bailey Van Meter and
Meagan Kennedy each bowled one game with scores of 152 and 143, respectively.
Up next, the Warriors will travel to Allentown, Pennsylvania, where they will compete in the Keystone Quaker Classic and the Leigh Valley Classic beginning on December 19.
