Williamsburg, Ky. - Indiana Tech traveled to Kentucky to play against the University of the Cumberlands on Tuesday and lost by 4-0 in a non-conference challenge.

This was the second time Indiana Tech and Cumberlands had faced each other in history. The first meeting was not long ago when the teams played at the 2021 NAIA Nationals, with Cumberlands winning 4-2 and advancing to the next phase of the tournament.

Tuesday, the Warriors lost and could not score a point in the duel, with the Patriots guaranteeing the win after winning the doubles point and three more points in the singles matches.

In the doubles, Indiana Tech lost game number 1 6-2 and game number 2 6-0. The third match was 5-2 for the Warriors but was not finished, considering the opponent had already guaranteed the doubles point by winning the first two matches.

In the singles matches, Indiana Tech lost game 1 6-3 / 6-0, game 5 6-1 / 6-2, and game 6 6-1 / 6-1. Games 2, 3, and 4 were not finished after Cumberlands clinched the 4
th needed point to get the win.
