FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's wrestling team had a weekend full of action as they hosted the Warrior Duals on Friday afternoon and the Warrior Open on Saturday. The Warriors went 3-3 in the duals with wins over Hiram (41-6), Tiffin (33-14), and St. Andrews (43-6) while falling to Campbellsville (17-27), the University of Iowa (0-42), and Cumberlands (6-38). On Saturday,
Tehani Soares was the highlight of the Warrior team, finishing second in the 109-lb weight class.

On Saturday, Soares was the lone Warrior to finish in the top eight of their weight class, going 4-1, only losing in the first-place match.

The Warriors are back in action at home again this weekend, hosting Lourdes University on Friday. On Saturday, Tech hosts Rochester University and Siena Heights University.
