FORT WAYNE, Ind. – On Thursday morning, the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference released the 2024 conference awards for men's soccer. Indiana Tech would see a flurry of awards come their way as 15 Warriors earn WHAC accolades this season.
Graduate student
Tiago Dias would be named both the WHAC Defender of the Year as well as the WHAC Newcomer of the Year. A native of Portimao, Portugal, Dias has helped lead the Warrior defense to seven clean sheets this season, while only allowing seven goals in conference play. He would also be named to the WHAC First Team All-Conference.

Alex Mihov, senior defender
Tahj Hylton, sophomore goalkeeper
Alex Kyriakides, and senior utility midfielder
Emerson Nieto would be named First Team All-Conference selections. Four Warriors would also be named to the WHAC Second Team All-Conference including freshman midfielder
Gui Moreira, sophomore forward
Saladin Lekhal, senior forward
Mark Mc Daid, and graduate student defender
Tramaine Lawson.
Tech would also receive two spots on the WHAC All-Newcomer Team, courtesy of junior defender
Jahiem Rose and graduate student midfielder
Matt Roberts. Sophomore goalkeeper
Lennart Wider would represent Indiana Tech on the Champion of Character Team, which is comprised of one player from each school who best represents the five core character values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership.
Indiana Tech also had three Warriors named to the All-Academic Team, which consists of sophomores or above in academic standing with a cumulative 3.25 GPA or better who have attended their school for one full year. Representing the Warriors was
