FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Indiana Tech's
K'Leigh Davis,
Viviana Rodriguez,
Jaxson Fugate,
Nic Tozer, and
Will Jarman were all named Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Players of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
The Warriors would sweep the track awards as
K'Leigh Davis and
Viviana Rodriguez took home the WHAC's women's indoor track and field athletes of the week, while
Nic Tozer and
Will Jarman took the men's after their performances at the Warrior Indoor Invitational last Thursday and Friday. Davis won both the 60m (7.60) and 200m (24.99) races with NAIA 'B' standards in both, while Rodriguez finished second and hit an 'A' standard in the pole vault (3.65m). Tozer hit an 'A' standard winning the 60m hurdles in 7.97 seconds, while Jarman won the heptathlon (5,070) and broke the facility and school records in the process.
Jaxson Fugate grabbed the WHAC Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week Award after putting up 36 points, seven rebounds, and two assists, while shooting 93.3% from the floor in a 96-86 win over Michigan-Dearborn on Saturday.
