FORT WAYNE, Ind. – On Thursday, the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference released the 2024-25 conference awards for men's hockey. Indiana Tech would see six Warriors earn WHAC accolades this season.
Malik Ali was named to the All-WHAC First Team and was named WHAC Player of the Year. Joining him on the First Team were
Aidan Dufort, and
Gage Reimer.
Isaiah Gagerman would be named to the All-WHAC Second Team, head coach
Frank DiCristofaro would be named WHAC Coach of the Year, while
Luke Anderson represented Indiana Tech on the Champion of Character Team, which is comprised of one player from each school who best represents the five core character values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership.
Indiana Tech also had eleven Warriors named to the All-Academic Team, which consists of sophomores or above in academic standing with a cumulative 3.25 GPA or better who have attended their school for one full year. Representing the Warriors were

Ali, a forward from Flat Rock, Michigan was named WHAC Player of the Year and All-WHAC First Team. This is the second year of his career he has received All-WHAC accolades, being selected to the All-WHAC Second Team last season. The senior leads the team with 20 goals and is first on the team in points with 45 while sitting second on the team in assists and 25. Ali has played in 29 of Tech's 30 games this season.
Dufort, a junior from Hinsdale, Illinois earns his second All-WHAC selection this season, being named to the First Team for the second straight season. Dufort has appeared in 27 games this season for the Warriors, picking up 12 goals and 26 assists for a team second-best 38 points as part of Tech's top line in defense.
Reimer has been Tech's top goalie this season, making 13 appearances in net and picking up his first All-WHAC selection, being named to the First Team. The sophomore from Medicine Hat, Alberta has made 317 saves this season and has a save percentage of .943. Reimer has gone 10-2 with one shutout, giving up 19 goals and logging 718:40 minutes of game action.
Gagerman, a native of Chicago, Illinois, was named to the All-WHAC Second Team for his first All-WHAC selection of his career. The sophomore defender has made 23 appearances this season for Tech. Gagerman has recorded 17 points on three goals and 14 assists.
DiCristofaro picked up his second WHAC Coach of the Year honor, winning his first in the 2022-23 season. He led the Warriors to their fifth straight WHAC regular season title with a 23-1-0 conference record while going 26-4-0 overall. Along with the WHAC Title DiCristofaro surpassed his 250
th career win as a head coach and 250
th win as the Indiana Tech head coach this season.
Anderson would be named to the WHAC Champions of Character Team after representing the WHAC's core values throughout the season. The junior forward from Plymouth, Michigan has played in 27 games, recording 13 points on two goals and 11 assists for the Warriors this season.
