ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The #13 ranked Indiana Tech Men's hockey team traveled to St Louis, Missouri this past week to compete in the ACHA National Tournament. They drew #21 ranked Oswego State in a first-round matchup set for Thursday morning on the opening day of the tournament. After a tough battle, the Warriors would fall short in overtime losing 3-2, ending their 2024-2025 season.

The game started off with an early power play goal for Indiana Tech from Austin Buck at 8:22, assisted by Alex Carrothers and Jeremy Dunmore. Just over a minute later, at 9:23, Oswego State responded with a goal to tie it at 1-1. At 15:21, Indiana Tech regained the lead with a goal from Malik Ali, assisted by Alex Arnold and Aidan Dufort. The second period saw a tied game, as Oswego State scored midway through the period to make it 2-2. 

The third period remained scoreless, as both teams struggled to break the deadlock, so the game went to a 5 on 5, 20-minute period, sudden death overtime. Oswego managed to seal the game at 5:39 into the period to win the game 3-2, sending the Warriors home. Goaltender Gage Reimer played a total of 65 minutes and 39 seconds, saving 33 shots in total in goal for the Warriors. 

The Warriors finish the 2024-25 year with a 28-5-0 overall record. This season Tech won both the WHAC regular season and tournament championships before concluding the season in the first round of the ACHA National Tournament.
