FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference announced its 2025 Men's and Women's Tennis Honors in conjunction with the league's tournament.
The women's team had two individuals earn First Team All-Conference honors in singles and one duo honored for doubles.
Criss Daihanna Echavarria and
Daniela Rubio were the singles selected to the First Team, while the doubles partnership of
Paula San Jose Menendez and
Daniela Rubio was the doubles selected.
The men's team had one doubles pair selected as First Team All-Conference honorees, which was the duo of
Juan Pablo Lazo and
Santiago Lazo.
The WHAC also announced its All-Academic Team, which honors sophomores or above in academic standing with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 and in attendance at nominating school for one full year.

Daniela Rubio, and
Paula San Jose Menendez were the Warriors to receive All-Academic Honors from the women's team. At the same time,
Ivan Bilandzic,
Sebastian Carbajal,
Randy Funez,
Sam Kollar,
Juan Pablo Lazo,
Santiago Lazo, and
Jorge Rodriguez were the Honorees from the men's team.
Andres Pizzamiglio and
Danica Kuntz were the Warriors' representatives on the Champions of Character Team. The honor is given to one player from each team who best represents the five core character values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership.
