CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The Indiana Tech men's wrestling team went to battle this weekend, competing at the NWCA National Duals in Iowa with the top teams from around the country.

The #3 ranked Warriors would start the tournament with a duel against conference opponent (RV) Cornerstone University. Tech would easily soar past the Golden Eagles with a 34-7 to move onto the quarterfinal round. There the Warriors would meet #5 Southern Oregon University, winning 21-10. In the semifinal match, Tech would face off against #2 ranked Life University, where they would fall, for the first time this season, 10-25. The Orange & Black would face off against #3 Southeastern University in the third-place match. After defeating the Fire 22-16 on December 18^th, Tech would again defeat Southeastern on Saturday 19-11 to secure third place for the tournament. Jonathan Kervin would lead the Warriors over the weekend, going 4-0 in his matches with three of those coming against top 20 ranked wrestlers in the 165lb class.

Tech put on a strong showing at the NWCA National Duals with a third-place finish and now sit at 11-1 in duals this season. The Warriors will compete next at the Spartan Mat Classic on Saturday, January 17^th in North Manchester, Indiana.
