BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Indiana Tech women's wrestling team travelled down to Kentucky for the 2026 MSC Championships on Friday. The Warriors would make history with a runners-up finish, scoring 164 points, marking their highest placement at the conference tournament in program history. Life University would win their fourth straight conference title, finishing with 211.5 points.
Twelve athletes would compete at the championships with seven placing in the top three and earning all-conference honors.
Rose Kaplan would be named Wrestler of the Tournament after winning the MSC title at 124 and earning MSC first team all-conference honors.
Zoey Haney,
Emma Jones, and
Bo Geibe would all be second team all-conference, while
Makayla Young,
MaKenize Smith, and
Kinnley Smith would be third team all-conference.
Andrea Hernandez would represent Indiana Tech on the Champion of Character Team, which is comprised of one player from each school who best represents the five core character values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership.
Indiana Tech also had 14 Warriors named to the All-Academic Team, which consists of sophomores or above in academic standing with a cumulative 3.25 GPA or better who have attended their school for one full year. Representing the Warriors was
