EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech Archery team travelled down to southern Indiana this past weekend for the 2026 Indiana State Indoor Championships. Tech would put in a strong showing to finish third overall, while
Anahi Ramirez Brito claimed first place in the collegiate women's recurve.
Ramirez Brito set a new personal best on both days of the competition on her way to winning the division. The rest of the Warriors would have stellar performances as well.
Allie Goodrich finished third in the collegiate women's fixed pins,
Brianna Triplett finished fifth in the collegiate women's barebow, and
Jack Boer placed eleventh in the collegiate men's fixed pins. Overall, Tech would score 3,128 points to finish third. The Warriors would just narrowly miss out on second place, falling less than 200 points behind Wabash Valley College (3,315 points). Southern Illinois College was first with 5,813 points and Purdue University was fourth with 1,936 points.
Up next, the Warriors will compete at the 2026 USA Archery Indoor Nationals on February 28
th-March 1
st in Mason, Michigan.
