FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Indiana Tech Men's Rugby reached another milestone Wednesday as the Warriors earned the first national ranking in program history.

Indiana Tech came in at No. 15 in the first Men's Coaches Poll of the 2026 season, marking the first time the young program has appeared in the national rankings.

The recognition comes during just the Warriors' second varsity 15s season and reflects the continued growth of a program that has quickly established itself on the collegiate rugby landscape.

"This is a really meaningful moment for our program because of how much work has gone into building this from the ground up," Head Coach Sam DiFilippo said. "Our players have earned the opportunity to be recognized nationally, and I'm proud of that. At the same time, a ranking doesn't change what we need to do. We have to keep getting better every week and continue proving ourselves on the field."

The No. 15 Warriors return to action Saturday, Sept. 26, when they host No. 16 Aquinas College at 3 p.m. at Shields Field in a Big Rivers Rugby Conference crossover matchup between the two WHAC programs.
