Nate Zastrow is entering his third season as an assistant coach for the Warriors.
Prior to Indiana Tech, Zastrow spend one season as a graduate assistant at Minot State, a Division II University in the Northern Sun Conference.
He was involved with all aspects of the men's basketball program including game planning, recruiting, individual and team training and film exchange and breakdown.
Zastrow had a four-year playing career at North Dakota State University from 2009-2013. He helped the Bison to a 66-57 mark over his career including 24-10 in his final season. He was named captain of the Bison both his junior and senior seasons.
He finished his career with NDSU totaling 369 points and was named to the Summit League Winter/Spring All-Academic Team three different times.
A native of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, Zastrow graduated in 2009 from Manitowoc Lincoln High School where he was a four-year starting point guard and part of two conference championship teams under Coach Mark Christenson. He averaged over 20 points per game his final two seasons and made the all-state first team his senior year. He set school records with 1,586 career points and 471 career assists, averaged 18.2 points and 5.4 assists over four seasons and scored in double figures 62 straight games.
Zastrow is a 2013 graduate from North Dakota State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Sports and Recreation Leadership and received his Masters in Management from Indiana Tech in May 2016. He currently lives in Fort Wayne with his wife, Darian.
