Stephen A. Wright, MD has been a part of SportONE since 1997. Specializing in sports medicine, knee and shoulder reconstruction and arthroscopic surgery, Dr. Wright is a leading orthopaedic surgeon and esteemed partner of Parkview Sports Medicine.
Passionate about sports from a young age, Dr. Wright combines his love for athletics and medicine within his career as a sports medicine doctor. He is proud to provide care for local high school and collegiate athletes. Traveling throughout Europe and South American as the team physician for the U.S. Alpine Ski Team, Dr. Wright has gained significant experience. He also served as the physician at the U.S. bobsled and skeleton events for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games.
Board Certified by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dr. Wright maintains active membership in the Indiana State Medical Association, as well as the Fort Wayne Medical and Orthopaedic societies.
Married with five children, Dr. Wright enjoys spending free time with his family. A lover of outdoor sports, he can also be found skiing, kayaking, swimming, cycling, or even windsurfing.
