2024: She appeared in 40 games, making 27 starts, and finished with a .247 batting average, collecting 20 hits, 5 doubles, and 2 home runs. She drove in 21 RBIs, scored 10 runs, and drew 11 walks while striking out 8 times.
Koning demonstrated solid on-base skills with a .383 OBP and contributed to the team’s slugging with a .347 mark. She also stole 3 bases in 3 attempts. Bringing her experience from Kalamazoo Valley CC, where she hit over .500 in her sophomore season, Koning adds both versatility and offensive depth to the Tech lineup.

Koning tallied 23 hits, including 6 doubles and 3 triples, drove in 20 RBIs, and scored 38 runs, while maintaining an impressive .500 on-base percentage. Her ability to get on base and generate runs made her a key offensive contributor.
On the pitching side, Koning threw 39.2 innings, posting a 3.00 ERA with 32 strikeouts and 22 walks, finishing with a 3-2 record and contributing to 14 games pitched (3 starts). Bio: Jayme Koning, a 5’7” R/R junior from Kalamazoo, Mich., brings a strong hitting background to Tech after two productive seasons at Kalamazoo Valley Community College. During her freshman campaign in 2019-20, she appeared in 14 games and went 15-for-39 (.385) at the plate, tallying 6 doubles, 1 home run, 12 RBIs, 2 walks, and 3 strikeouts, finishing with a .415 on-base percentage and a .615 slugging percentage.
She elevated her performance in 2020-21, playing 32 games and hitting .500 (46-for-92) with 6 doubles, 12 home runs, and 38 RBIs. She also drew 17 walks, struck out 13 times, stole 2 bases, and posted a remarkable .584 OBP and .957 SLG. Koning’s proven ability to hit for both average and power, combined with her experience on the basepaths, makes her a versatile offensive contributor and a valuable addition to the Tech roster.
