David Bokhart

G. David Bokhart enters his 15th year with Indiana Tech heading into 2025-26, transitioning to the Director of Institutional Advancement for Athletics in August 2025 after 14 years as a coach and administrator in the Department of Athletics. Bokhart will oversee advancement and partnership initiatives specific to athletics in the new role, while also supporting a variety of other Institutional Advancement and Alumni programs.

Prior to the current position, Bokhart was Associate Director of Athletics for Compliance and Administration from 2018 to this past summer. During his time as head men's soccer coach from 2011 to 2017 and in Fall 2021, he compiled a record of 85-53-15, the second-most wins in school history. In 2021, he helped Tech to WHAC regular-season and tournament championships and a berth in the NAIA national quarterfinals. He earned his 100th overall win as a head coach on Sept. 14, 2021, a 2-0 triumph over Huntington University. The Indiana Tech men's soccer staff earned WHAC and United Soccer Coaches Regional Staff of the Year in that same season. Prior to arriving at Tech, Bokhart was the head men’s soccer coach at Saint Joseph’s College (Ind.) from 2006-2010. 

His professional memberships include the National Association for College Directors of Athletics (NACDA), National Association of Athletic Development Directors, United Soccer Coaches
He is active in the community as a youth soccer coach with Fort Wayne United FC and volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Junior Achievement, among others.

Bokhart, a Fort Wayne native, earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication from Purdue University in 2000, and completed an MBA at the University of Saint Francis in December 2006.
