Jessie Biggs is entering her sixth year (2025-26) as the Director of Athletics at Indiana Tech after assuming the role on June 6, 2020.
Biggs has continued to push the Department of Athletics to new heights as Tech has won the WHAC All-Sports Trophy/Commisioner Cup in all five of her years in charge, making it eight straight trophies for Tech, following the 2024-25 year (no winner during 2019-20 covid year). Biggs also helped Tech win its first ever Learfield IMG College Directors' Cup in 2022-23 after previously leading Tech to a program best second place finish in her first year for the 2020-21 season and a fourth place finish in the 2021-22 season. Tech also earned a perfect score in the NAIA Champions of Character Five-Star Institution Awards during 2020-21 and has earned gold status all five years under Biggs' leadership. She has also negotiated department-wide deals with BSN Sports on apparel and uniforms, inked a deal with HomeTown Ticketing to streamline ticket sales and season passes with an online option, and an agreement with Summit City Sports to broadcast a high number of varsity home contests.
Since arriving in the Summit City in 2012, Biggs has served the university in a variety of administrative roles, including managing the softball and women’s lacrosse programs during periods of transition, mentoring new coaches and staff members, overseeing game-day management operations and working through the complexities of recruitment and scholarship models. She currently sits on the Athletics Hall of Fame Selection Committee and is a liaison between the Department of Athletics and the Admissions Office.
During the summer of 2015, she was named Associate Director of Athletics and Senior Woman Administrator, where she oversees event management of all home varsity events in conjunction with the Sports Information Office.Â
She earned her bachelor's degree in Criminology with a minor in Athletic Coaching from Northern Iowa in 2007 and her master’s degree in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Administration from Western Illinois University in December 2011.
Biggs lives in Fort Wayne with her wife, Kylene, an assistant coach for the women's basketball team, and daughters, Olivia and Nile.
