Kyle Hawkins

Kyle Hawkins enters his first year with Indiana Tech as the Assistant Director of Athletics heading into the 2025-26 academic year after joining in the fall of 2025. Kyle will oversee athletic facilities, operations, camps, facility rentals, and event management. He will have sport oversight of various Warrior programs as well.

He comes from LSU Shreveport where he served in a similar role during a historic 2024-2025 season. Most notably the LSUS baseball team achieved a historic 59-0 perfect season, the 1st undefeated season in college baseball history, while he was there. Prior to LSUS, Hawkins worked at his Alma Mater, IU Southeast in New Albany, Indiana, where he served in a multitude of roles including Interim Assistant AD for Operations. In between stints at IU Southeast, Hawkins was the first person hired by the athletic director of IUPUC in Columbus, Indiana to help build an intercollegiate athletics program from scratch. There he was able to help create many processes that would get the program off the ground.

During his career, Hawkins has been responsible for sport oversight, managed gameday operations, apparel/uniform ordering, and facility operations. He also has also been the campus liaison for the Association of Student-Athletes.

Hawkins, a native of Lapel, Indiana, played baseball at IU Southeast for four years where he was selected to the River States Conference 1st team during his senior campaign where he recorded the 2nd lowest season ERA in school history. During his career he was also named an RSC and NAIA Scholar Athlete and was inducted as a member of Chi Alpha Sigma, the national honor society for student-athletes.

Hawkins earned his B.S. in Business Management, Marketing and Professional Selling from Indiana University Southeast, before earning his M.S. in Sports Administration from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
