The senior from Floyds Knobs, Indiana went on a rampage in December going 8-0 in the month and winning the Little State Invite. On December 6th, Kervin would go 5-0 with three falls and two tech falls on his way to becoming the Little State Invitational Champion. He would follow that performance up with three dual meet wins over top ranked opponents, including #13 University of Providence, #4 Southeastern University, and (RV) Keiser University. In those matches, he would pick up two tech falls, including one over an All-American, and he would defeat the #7 ranked wrestler in the weight class 12-5.
