Box Score DEARBORN, Mich. – Despite outshooting UM-Dearbon 22-16, the Indiana Tech men's soccer team suffered a 4-2 loss to the Wolves on Wednesday night at Dearborn High School.

It didn't take long for the first goal to be scored with Alex Vasilevski putting UMD ahead in the 11th minute, firing a shot from 20-yards out on just the second shot of the game. The Warriors (9-7-1, 3-6) got off three shots over the next 10 minutes, but couldn't capitalize on their chances leading to the Wolves (6-8-2, 3-4-2) second goal of the game. Damjam Stamenkovik knocked home the rebound of a shot by Iris Mesic to give Dearborn the 2-0 lead.

It took 23 more minutes for the Warriors to finally get on the board, scoring on a header from five yards out by Braden Walker after a brilliant cross from Sam Didion, cutting the lead to one, 2-1.

Tech trailed at the break despite outshooting UMD 10-5 in the period including a 5-3 margin in shots on goal. Reece Richardson made one save in the period while the Wolves' Andrew Pietrzak recorded four in the half.

Iris Mesic increased the lead to three in the second half scoring in the 46th minute on a chip shot over the Richardson and again in the 63rd minute from 10-yards out. Both goals were assisted by Matt McCourt. The Warriors final tally of the match came at the 74:28 mark when Zachary St. Aubin's header found the back of the net off a pass from Tim Short.

The Orange and Black tallied 22 shots, nine on goal compared to just 16 shots for UMD, however they also put nine on frame. Pietzrak collected seven saves in the game while Richardson only managed five.

Tech concludes play in the regular season in Livonia, Mich, on Saturday Nov. 2 at 2:30 p.m. against Madonna.
