@INTechMSoccer End Season on Sour Note, Fall to Madonna 2-0

Box Score LIVONIA, Mich. – The Indiana Tech men's soccer team saw its season come to an end on Saturday with a 2-0 loss to Madonna at The MAC.

The Crusaders (7-5-4, 5-2-3) netted their first goal in the 18th minute when Nicholi LaRocca was able to head home a corner kick from Ryan Williams for the 1-0 lead.

Tech was outshot in the first half 12-6 including a 7-4 margin in shots on frame. The Crusaders also attempted nine more corner kicks in the period with the Warriors (9-8-1, 3-7-0) attempting two.

In the second half things were silent until the 58th minute when Brandon Hess made a long run into the right side of the box before sending a cross to the endline near the right post for an easy goal by Abdul Ibrahim, his fourth of the season.

Madonna outshot Tech 21-8 in the game including a 10-4 advantage in shots on goal. The Crusaders also attempted 10 more corner kicks than the Warriors, 14-4. Reece Richardson collected eight saves in his final game for the Orange and Black while Marcel Schmidt made four stops for the Crusaders.
