Box Score SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – The road woes continued for the Indiana Tech women's basketball team on Saturday as the Warriors (5-4, 2-1) fell to the Blue Devils (3-2, 2-1) of Lawrence Tech in overtime, 73-72 at the Don Ridler Field House.

A Rachael Kruse jumper with 15 seconds to play in regulation sent the game to overtime tied at 63. The teams traded free throws in the overtime period with Chelsea Carradine hitting two with 1:15 left to play to put the Warriors up 72-71. A Rayana Villalpando defensive rebound with 35 seconds left seemed to ice the game, but a turnover gave LTU the ball with 33 seconds left. Following a Blue Devil timeout, Brenda Davis converted a layup with nine seconds to play for the 73-72 lead and the victory.

The Warriors held the largest lead of the contest, six points, several times throughout the contest, the last coming at 33-27 with 18:59 to play. LTU led by as many as four throughout the contest, the last coming at 54-50 with 5:08 left in the second half.

The Blue Devils led 27-26 at the half, outscoring the Orange and Black 16-6 in the paint, 13-0 in second chance points and 10-0 in bench points. The Warriors found their game in the paint in the second half, taking a 12-6 advantage inside but got outscored 8-4 in points off turnovers and 12-0 in bench points.

Indiana Tech finished the game 23-for-53 (43.4%) from the field and 7-for-24 (29.2%) from behind the arc while also converting 19-of-25 (76%) free throws. Lawrence Tech was 24-for-70 (34.3%) from the field including a 4-for-17 (23.5%) mark from three and finished 21-of-28 (75%) from the charity stripe.

Ulyssia Richmond led all scorers with 24 points while Carradine finished with 22 points and eight rebounds. Kruse added 14 points for the Warriors.

Allison Bicknell led the Blue Devils with 18 points while Allison Kitchen finished with a game-high 13 rebounds while adding 16 points. Hali Butler also had a double-double with 17 points and 12 boards.

The Warriors will look to improve their 1-4 record away from the Schaefer Center on Tuesday, Nov. 26 when they travel to Dearborn, Mich. to face Michigan-Dearborn at 5:30 p.m.
