Box Score DEARBORN, Mich. – Led by Rachael Kruse's 21 points and Chelsea Carradine's third double-double in four games, the Indiana Tech women's basketball team made quick work of the Wolverines of Michigan-Dearborn, winning by a score of 76-57, snapping a two-game road losing streak on Tuesday night.

Tech game out of the gates on fire, hitting five of their first six shots from the floor and three of four free throws to take a 15-0 lead in the games' first four minutes. A short 6-2 run gave the Wolverines (0-7, 0-4) some life, but the Warriors (6-4, 3-1) were determined to leave little doubt, stretching the lead to as many as 28 points, 43-15, with 2:04 left in the first half. UMD scored the final six points of the half with Tech leading 43-21.

The Warriors won in the paint, outscoring the Wolverines 8-2 while also outscoring UMD in points off turnovers (10-4), second-chance points (4-2) and bench points (9-4).

The Orange and Black finished the half 14-for-28 (50%) from the floor, an incredible 6-for-9 (66.7%) from behind the arc and 9-fo-10 (90%) from the charity stripe. The defense played well too, holding UMD to 6-for-30 (20%) shooting in the half including an 0-for-6 mark from three. Ulyssia Richmond and Kruse each scored 10 first half points while Carradine added nine.

UMD got off to a fast start in the second half, using a 15-2 run to cut the Warriors lead to nine, 45-36, at the 13:10 mark. That's as close as the Wolverines got as the Warriors stretched the lead back out to as many as 19, which they did several times, including the winning margin, 76-57.

Tech again won in the paint, outscoring their opponent 12-8 while also winning second chance points (10-6) and bench points (8-4).

The Warriors struggled offensively in the second half, knocking down just 10-of-38 (26.3%) shots in the second half, while going 0-for-2 from three. The team's saving grace was a 13-for-14 (92.9%) mark from the free throw line. The defense continued to play well too, limiting UMD to 31.6 percent (12-for-38) shooting in the half despite a 3-for-4 (75%) mark from three and a 9-for-10 (90%) mark from the charity stripe.

Kruse's 21 led all scorers and she added nine rebounds while Carradine finished with 17 points and 14 boards with Richmond adding 14 points as well. Taylor Carver led the Tech bench with eight points.

Danielle Cowart led the Wolverines with 18 points while Jalissa Williams added 16 points and 11 rebounds.

The Warriors improved to 2-4 away from the Schaefer Center and conclude their three-game road trip on Wednesday, Dec. 4 when they face Concorida in Ann Arbor, Mich. at 5:30 p.m.
