Box Score UPLAND, Ind. –The Indiana Tech men's soccer team faced a tough test in Taylor on Wednesday night and played to a 1-1 draw after 110 minutes of play at New Stadium in Upland, Ind. The Warriors move to 4-0-1 on the season while Taylor falls to 0-4-2.

It was a long, hot contest with the game being moved to 8 p.m. due to extremely warm weather conditions, it was still in the upper 80's with an even higher heat index at kickoff. The two teams both worked hard and the goalkeepers each did their part as both keepers made nine saves with Taylor attempting 21 shots and Tech taking 17.

It took just 10 minutes for the Trojans to get on the board as Nathan West scored off a set piece from the corner flicking the ball off his right foot near the far post. The assist went to Danny Cawley. It was one of three shots on frame in the period for Taylor, while they tallied 10 in the half. The Warriors got off to a slow start with just four shots, three on frame.

The Orange and Black finally got on the board in the 71st minute with a goal from Zachary St. Aubin, his sixth of the season. He scored with a finish in the upper left corner after receiving a cross from Adam Knight who tallied an assist on the play. The goal was one of seven shots the Warriors put on frame in the second period and part of a 10 shot attack. Taylor wasn't shy either with 10 second half shots and five on frame.

Both teams tired in overtime tallying just four total shots in the two extra periods with only two of those on goal. Tech tallied 12 corner kicks in the game while TU totaled six, scoring on one.

The Warriors return to the pitch on Saturday night, Sept. 13 as they play their last of three consecutive road games at 7 p.m. at Asbury in Wilmore, Ky.
