@INTechMSoccer Suffers First Shutout to UNOH, 6-0

Box Score LIMA, Ohio –The Indiana Tech men's soccer team was shutout for the first time this season, losing its third consecutive game after going unbeaten in the first six, with a 6-0 loss to Northwestern Ohio. The Warriors fall to 5-3-1 overall and 0-2 in WHAC play while the Racers move to 6-1-2 overall and 1-1 in conference action.

UNOH dominated the game in every aspect, scoring three times in each half, including three goals off the bench for the victory. The Racers outshot the Warriors 20-1 for the game and 14-1 in shots on frame including shutting out Tech in the second half.

Orange and Black goalkeeper Reece Richardson collected eight saves, but the Racers were relentless in their attack and found the back of the net six times.

Sergio Royo led the attack as he tallied two goals, both in the first half, while attempting six shots with five on frame.

Nathan Waits had the lone shot and shot on frame for the Warriors in the contest.

Indiana Tech returns to the pitch on Wednesday, Oct. 2 when they host Marygrove at the Warrior Athletic Field at 7 p.m.
