RESULTS | SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Indiana Tech women's golf team is concluding their fall season at the NAIA Women's Golf Preview meet hosted by SCAD-Savannah at Savannah Quarters Country Club for a 36-hole national championship preview event.
Playing the national championship course for the first time, the Warriors are currently tied for third after a first round total of 314. Sophomore
Wiebke Schlender led the Orange and Black with a one-under, 71 and is currently second after 18 holes.
Freshman
Breanna Post had the second-best round for Tech, carding a five-over 77 to tie for 16th.
Courtney Dye and
Bailey Bostler each finished the first round with a pair of 83's while
Rachel George rounded out the scoring for the Warriors, finishing with an 89.
Northwood (Fla.) currently leads the event with an eight-over, 296, eight shots ahead of the second-place hosts, SCAD-Savannah (304). The Warriors are currently tied with Embry-Riddle (Fla.) and Wayland Baptist for third at 314.
