Women’s Golf Selected Fourth in WHAC Preseason Poll

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Indiana Tech women's golf team was selected fourth in the 2025-26 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Coaches Preseason Poll, the conference announced Monday afternoon.

Indiana Tech received 97 points in this year's preseason poll after finishing in seventh place last season at the conference championships. During the fall part of last season, the Warriors would finish third at the WHAC Preview event. Lawrence Tech University was last season's WHAC Champion and was picked to repeat for the 2025-26 season. The Blue Devils received all 12 first place votes and 144 points in the poll with a 19-point lead over projected runner-up the University of Northwestern Ohio. Indiana Tech sits 16 points behind third placed Cleary University and eight points ahead of fifth placed Siena Heights University.

The WHAC Preseason Poll is voted on by the league's head coaches. Points are tabulated by assigning 12 points to the team a coach ranks first, 11 points to a team a coach ranks second, and so on. The number of first-place votes indicates the number of coaches who ranked that team as the No. 1 team in the WHAC.
